The zero reset feature allows you to easily reset to zero by pressing a button and start a new measurement at any point on the scale, which is very useful for differential measurement. The 6"/150mm capacity is large enough to measure just about any necessary part on a bicycle, while the thumb-wheel allows you to precisely dial-in all of your measuremets.
