Thijs is officially joining the CycleWorx crew to bring our clients even more tailored experience

We have done a sneaky and asked Thijs some questions - READ BELOW. 
 
1) What excites you most about joining the CycleWorx team?

I'm most excited to work for a team of dedicated and passionate mates!
 
2) What’s your background in bikes, retail, and customer service?

I'm from The Netherlands, I was biking before I could walk. Been riding MTB and e-MTB in NZ for 7 years, and worked those years in an e-MTB specialist store. 
 
3) What’s one thing customers can expect from you when they walk into the shop?

I'm always keen to talk trails and share the stoke
 
4) What’s your all-time favourite bike, and what are you riding at the moment?

I currently & mostly ride a Marin Alpine Trail XR enduro bike, and a Focus Sam2 e-MTB. My all-time favourite is any bike that puts a massive grin on my face when pointing it downhill. 
 
5) Where do you love riding most, and what makes those rides special to you?

Can't beat the Redwoods in Rotorua, just the combination of variety, accessibility, dirt and size is something I don't think you will find anywhere else. Riding there is special because there is a huge amount of every type of riding, from gravel to dh and from steep and technical to huge jumps. Any adventure ride in NZ native forest is very high on the list as well!
